JAMES E. VANDERROEST, ATTORNEY, was born in Kalamazoo, Mich., and graduated from Plainwell High School. He attended Michigan State University and received a Business Administration Degree with high honors. He attended law school at Brigham Young University on scholarship and graduated in 1981; that same year he began practicing law. In 1989, he joined this law firm, founded by G. Philip Dietrich 10 years before, which has always specialized in Business and Estate Planning law. Attorney VanderRoest serves businesses large and small, and individuals of modest to wealthy means. Jim believes the law should be a helping profession, practiced with the goal of managing, not increasing, the client's involvement in the legal system. TAMMY MCDANIEL, LEGAL ASSISTANT/OFFICE MANAGER, has worked for Mr. VanderRoest since 2000, and received her Paralegal Degree in 2005. She is an expert at helping clients and provides outstanding services to meet our clients' needs. She is a certified Notary Public for the State of Michigan.
